From Father to Son — A Rallying Legacy
Rallying’s in our blood.
It all started behind the wheel of a Peugeot 1.9 GTi — the car that taught me about grip, guts, and gravel. I moved up to a Mitsubishi EVO 7, a serious machine that pushed my driving to the next level.
But the real story? That began when my son, Nick Kenny, was just 14.
During a test session at Sweet Lamb, I let him take the EVO 7 for a run. Within minutes, it was clear — he had something special. Before long, he was beating my times.
We knew we had a rally driver on our hands.
We backed him with an ex-Guy Wilks Ford Puma rally car, and Nick got to work — learning everything from pace notes to car setup. Then, the day he passed his driving test, we gave him the keys to a Subaru Impreza N12b.
He never looked back.
That very car took him to six rally wins — and launched a journey that’s still going strong.
But this legacy isn’t just about rally stages.
